On Saturday, we went to see Wicked in San Francisco! Robby was home for the weekend and we had such a great time. Heidi is back at school, but was able to see Wicked in London last fall. We went with my parents and my sister and her family. I have lived most of my life in California (other than my BYU and graduate school days), but had never taken BART into the city! We had a great adventure hopping on BART in Richmond and then being dropped off right in front of the theater.
Trevor loves to sing and dance. After the lights went on at intermission, he said, "That was amazing!" We have all been singing the songs from the musical. It was fabulous! Ironically, our friends Tillie Fox & her daughter, Heather, were right across the aisle, as was Ashlee Newbold and Kristen Jensen, more fun friends. Brett & Linda Perkins, more friends, were just 2 aisles over from us. What a great weekend. I feel very lucky to have seen so many great musicals. I must confess, however, that there is just something about seeing musicals in New York, as fun as San Francisco was for us. Now, Robby has gone back to Provo after a very short visit, but I am so glad that he and Heidi are in such a great place in their lives. It's just so hard as a parent to see them leave every time!
