This picture (a mother's proud moment) was taken when we were on a Galena tour in China. You get the picture of what was typical for these guys. They were hellions in every way. Today's update from left to right...Kyle just arrived in Florida for his 2 year mission, Ryan just submitted his papers tonight, Clayton is serving in Madagasgar and will be home in October, and Matthew entered the MTC for Arizona last week. These moments are so hard to even know how to find the right words. As we attended their setting aparts to serve as missionaries, it would be difficult to find a more spiritual experience. We have always loved these boys as our own and always knew the good young men that they were and just waited patiently and not so patiently sometimes, for them to find themselves. I will always be grateful to those men and women who have been so influential in their lives and who always believed in them, even when it was hard. They are and will be fabulous missionaries and great youth leaders.

A mother's other proud moment.....
Congratulations - you have amazing children!
ReplyDeleteHow awesome! We're so excited to see where he will go! I look forward to the day when my boys start getting their mission calls, but I'm sure I'll be a little sad as my home becomes more and more quiet...
